Can’t lose. With the 9.5 radius on these new ones you swap out a ton of parts on a VM you got close to the same thing. Try before you buy and you could get a good one.

Sometime this year I’m thinking about upgrading my VM jazzmaster, might do some new pickups and a staytrem, tort guard and all that shit.

I think it's only really an issue if you do loads of string-bending, and/or you're trying to pair superflat radius hardware with round radius neck, or vice versa.

If you like low string action and bending then flatter radius is a go

I bend a lot and i like my action low even though i certainly don't play shreddy music. and the *frets out during a semitone bend on a 7,25" is not something that'd sell a lot of guitars in 2018 imo.

Tbh, I prefer a more modern flatter radius, even on a Jazzmaster.

Yeah, thickness, nut, profile and fret size BUT 10-16" compound radius. Lucky secondhand find on eBay.

For me, it was more like 'fuck, i wish these bends didn't choke out so much', and figuring out from there what was causing that shit.

Love me a wizard neck. Current main squeeze is a 540s, but I must admit, I do get a bit of cramp if I’m doing a lot of br00tal power chords.
