Yamaha SA-500

Post by Thomas »

I picked this up in a trade a few weeks ago. The Art Deco sound holes and stop tail type bit probably aren't for everyone but I like 'em. Its like the Troy Van Leeuwen sig but with Humbuckers instead of P-90s and no Bigsby.

The pickup surrounds will get swapped out at some point.

They pop up between £100-200 reasonably often and I'd recommend it to anyone. The pickups are great and the centre block makes it usable.

Cheers guys. I mainly posted it in case any of you find one for sale and wonder what the deal up is with them. There’s not a lot of info about them online and most demos are terrible.

It’s a lot of guitar for the money.
