I guess it would have been cooler with white or cream switches, but I don't consider that a dealbreaker.

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts

He's wearing a Nirvana t-shirt to qualify his Mustang reviewer expertise.

I just don't like the colours to be honest. They just look boring. I don't know if they were going for a 'left in the sun for years, followed by a smoking room' look, but they seem to have succeeded. Though to be honest, most Fender Mustang colours are not really to my taste either :( I always saw them as fun guitars, thus give them at least some cheerful, fun colours!

I don't know if it is just his crap playing style but the CV seems to have more sustain than the VM, the VM has thinner pickups while the CV's ones seems to be clearer and defined. It's curious because the VM is equipped with Duncan Designed and I find them hotter than my CV Duo Sonic pickups. What I really complain is the new bridge with solid saddles: is there any way to get it as a spare part? I think that the American Professional mustangs have the same model

To be honest, this dude's subscriber base are also doughy, stubbly middle-aged men playing through DS-2s and Sansamps in their mancaves so it's probably what they wanna hear. "SWEET POWERDCHORD TONES DUDE!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘"

Although yeah, what a useless comparison; layered parts, and the 2 guitars never actually compared side-by-side. Very sweet powerchord tones, though.

I wish this guy would play other things as he's got such a sweet selection of guitars. But I guess geeky, yet fit and outdoorsy women are not really his subscriber base

Aye.

The Tesco lager they used to do was alright too. Not good, but good for cheap lager. They changed the recipe a few times and it got shite, and then they stopped doing it.
