Picked this up today. Haven't plugged it in yet cause hungover but sounds cool unplugged. Very jangly and resonant.

Nice Noirie! Love the thinline, but I’d slap a black guard on it personally. Still looks great!

Definitely him and Rachel Goswell made me always want one.

It's feels so much better than the VM I tried a couple years back. Looks better too.

I think the pickups are lower output than my Jaguars

But it's still really fucking nice. Has the newer narrow frets as well. Thought I'd hate them but so far so good.

Kinda pissed the shop charged me for strings and a gig bag though. Normally get them chucked in for free without much hassle.

When I bought my Flying V back in 2000 it didn't come with anything. They tried to sell me a second-hand case that it would fit in but it wasn't a V case. I said I'd just walk it back to the office and the guy said "you can't do that! Hang on, I'm sure I can find you a gig bag" and dug out a second-hand gig bag for me.

[edit: typo]

Same thing happened with me when I bought a Hagstrom. Was literally walking out the door and the manager stopped me and gave us a padded Fender one. IIRC that was Wunjos.

Was PMT I bought the Tele from. Whilst I was waiting for them to bring it out for me, some guy asked one of the sales assistants for help about something and I just heard "Sorry bro I know literally nothing about guitars". Pretty fucking yikes.

Nice guitar.
I had one in the 90's, a Fender Japan which I bought from a mail order guitar company called Flyingpig!

PMT sells pianos, synths, drums and PA stuff too tho, it's not just a guitar shop

Nice geetbox, sonny

Make sure the problem doesn't lie with the toggly, much cheaper fix than another WRHB. I swapped a pickup in an SG before finding it was a dirty contact on the switch causing the problem, and sorted it with just a bit of contact cleaner too rather than a whole new Switchcraft SG/335 switch (fuckers expensive).

The wide rangers in these have the Squier branding on them though. If I have to replace it with a Fender branded one, imma flip and go full rainman.

The switch does feel like a bag of shit so I reckon you're right.

Irony I choose this over a Mustang cause I didn't want no problems

If it's new it will still be under warranty so shouldn't cost you anything to fix. Still a PITA though.
