What Model is this Telecaster?

Post by westtexasred »

Can't read the backplate or serial number. Is that one of the 60th Anniversary Teles?

I think those inlays are just aftermarket decals, given the extra wide 12th fret one (to cover the spaced-out double dots).

Good guess from Noirie IMO, could be a Highway One with replacement bits... neck decal/truss rod style/tuner style/number of frets ticks all boxes.

It is a 2011 american special telecaster with a replaced pickguard and what looks like stickers on the fingerboard. The strange neck plate is on all teles between particular months around the tele anniversary that year. The specific anniversary model was basiclally a american standard, just in blonde which wasn't regularly available.

A separate "telebration" series of fsr models was available with all kinds of weird shit going on, but this is not one of them.
