Zoom GXF707 external switch

Post by NickS »

I got tired of bending down to push the GFX707 rhythm button so knocked up a quick and dirty mod.

Just need to tack a bit of two-core to these two pads..

Just for now, taking the wire out through a convenient gap in the back to a 1/4" (6.35mm) jack socket and using an old momentary footswitch.

That’s brilliant. The zoom707 was my entire pedalboard for years when I was a teenager! Wish I hadn’t got rid of mine.

same! I had one of these in my teenage band, our bass player had the matching bfx707. Last year I bought the pair of them again at a yard sale for $30. They’re worth a fair bit more than that now but the nostalgia won’t let me sell them.

I still have mine. The really annoying thing is that the preset patches suck pretty bad, there's only one that's barely usable, and not enough re-writable patches.

I didn't use the rhythms that much.

When you press the accelerator past halfway it doesn’t actually go any faster, but the engine noise distorts
