I don't like the look of a jagstang, all the rest of your guitars are gorgeous. What year are the Mustangs?

1962 Fender Jaguar
Bought this earlier this year as a 30th birthday gift to myself. After having a refret, and some sanding down to the shrunken pick guard to allow the pickups to be adjusted, it is now my best playing and sounding guitar by far. It's a refin, but other than that everything is original.
The Mrs found me a genuine 1962 Fender ad to go with it, which is nice

Where did you get the refret done, and how much was it? My Jazzmaster needs a refret and I'm in the same area as you.

A chap called Andy,
http://www.ozzyowl.co.uk/ , up in Meersbrook.
Here's the prices he emailed me:-
Refret (Rosewood/Ebony Unbound) – £150
Refret (Rosewood Bound) – £180
Refret (Maple Unbound) – from £200
Refret (Maple Bound) – from £225
He usually uses stainless fretwire, but was absolutely fine with my request for normal, vintage size fretwire.
I'd recommend him 100%, top bloke

Well, isn't that just about the nicest guitar you'll see all day. Nice, classy looking setup too. Happy belated 30th. Getting a guitar for your 30th is a good idea. My lovely wife was generous enough to by me a floral Jem for mine. Same same, but different...
Anyone know where the prison stang is?
