Picked up this pair from fb marketplace today for $220. The Teisco has the usual issues, but the neck is just bowed not twisted. When I got it the truss rod nut was completely loosened, so it might have some more room for adjustment after settling for a while. Never seen one this clean, or in this nice a color, reverb handle intact. I’ll probably try to get this one playing half decent and flip tbh.

The HRD turns on but no sound, it needs at the very least new power tubes. I left it to be worked on.

Nice one. I think those amps are my favourite. They sound fucking amazing when paired with my Jaguar.

Very nice! I think I have the same thing, or at least very similar, but in sunburst with that same flowery pickguard :)

I love the microphonic pickups for shouting through, apart from that though I never use it

This haul occupies a weird space in the pantheon of used gear in that both items are great finds and great value but both are broken as fuck.

Welp, the truss rod in the Teisco snapped. I should have probably quit while I was ahead or sold it as is. Necks pop up pretty cheap on ebay or reverb often enough, I may try and find a known straight one. I should probably just sell the body to someone who wants to upgrade their scumburst
