I went to GC to buy more drumsticks yesterday

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

I went to GC to buy more drumsticks yesterday

And bought this.

My first gretsch.

The intonation on it was sooooo bad. I bet the kid working there that he couldn't get the wrap around bridge in tune. He took that bet. 15 minutes later I had to buy it because he got it to work.

Very nice.

I also like the qualifier "first" Gretsch, implying that there will be more.

It helps when your strap matches already going in.

I'm assuming these are built in the Squier plant in Indonesia? Why is the Laurel fretboard on this so much nicer than 1500 dollar American fenders?

Might tear the pickguard off so I don't fuck it up with these pics in case I want to get out of it in 3 months. All these specs are saying NO from a fundamental level of what I get along with in a guitar but I'm going to give it a shot.

Yancy fretboards look way better than Poo Ferro
