and the tele nick posted looks like the orange mustang i saw last year that inspired me to go with building one when modding it didn't make sense. that orange is so dark, the red stripes do not pop like they do on the paler orange like mine.

if you google image search "capri orange", (other than the great looking ladies' highwaters you'll find) there is definitely a range of shades that show up. i'm glad i got the color on my mustang that it came with as it more closely matches the 70s models i was after. we'll see how the nitro looks in 40 years!

Will check, but quite decent.
Needed the usual setup etc. but overall pretty damn good.

Oh and I put this creme guard on it. Green was too green.

PSA!
Andertons have one of these for £319 - it's open box or B-stock innit, but they do look great, don't they?

It's been ages since I had a Jaaaag, so I bought a silver sparkle one.

Mad shame the silver ones don't also have a white/cream pickguard.

The tort isn't bad, but can't help but think it would POP with white or even black.

Impressed with the price though - £279 is ballpark for the £255 I paid for my VM Squier Jaguar back in the day when rosewood was still a thing

I'm not sure yet. The tort looks better than the old MIJ Jag and some old Squier torts. Not too red, not too brown! Some of the YT demos have this thing sounding not-too Jaguary, so perhaps the pickups are a bit hot. Easily fixed if that's the case. I paid £400 for this one, which is pretty spicy for a Squier, but it's a business expense so yeah.

Does the Charcoal Frost one come with an armsock or do you have to buy an aftermarket one?

Ah I saw some for £279 and assumed you had one of them

That is a spicy meatball indeed but they are nice guitars
Funnily enough Facebook memories tells me I hit my Squier 10 years ago today - stay trem bridge and antiquity II pickups (and a mint guard) and it is embarrassingly close to my old Jaguar

I'm not sure that guy is quite well.

I got the Jag, but I'm sending it back because it's a boat anchor. Gonna buy one from Peach cos they weigh their guitars.

Edit: I wonder if all the returns they're selling are due to the weight. This one is 8lb 9oz
