A while back, my mother in law wanted to get something for me as a belated birthday present. Wasn’t sure what I wanted so just left it on the backburner.
Something I’ve not had for a while is a six string acoustic. The last time I ordered one they sent me the 12 string version and told me to keep it as that was the correct guitar according to Amazon inventory team. (£400 guitar for £150!)
I was browsing Amazon late one night and noticed they had some all wood dreadnought acoustics under the ovation/applause brand. Most of the models range from £200-£350 depending on model, with some on offer at £150.
This one was classed as being peach in colour (clearly it’s pink) and was listed as new for £65!!
Checking it wasn’t an error, I ordered it and my mother in law gave me the money for it.
Not had much time with it, but it feels nice in the hand and sounds pretty good. No pickup or anything, but not planning to use it out the house.
And for £65 it’s not a bad deal

Nice one! Gotta say I have a soft spot for kooky coloured acoustics. I picked up a green Gretsch Jim Dandy last year and I'd love to get a yellow Loog Pro VI at some point.
For some reason I thought all Ovation acoustics had the weird round back!?

I used to have a Jim Dandy, lovely little guitars.
Think this is the first time they’ve done a wooden flat back guitar. Not sure if they’ve been popular, but it’s nice to play coming from years of electric necks.

Re: New acoustic day: Applause Jump
I think the round back Applause guitars had a plastic top. Is that wooden top or plastic?
