How is the Amp book? Let us know how the effects book is too. I know some stuff about effects circuits and etc because I've been researching it for about six years now but I like books instead of the internet.
The effects one looks pretty cool - a CD full of samples of effects pedals common and not so common

I haven't got the amp one yet - will let you know though - it has a very good reputation though

Awesome. I've definitely wanted to check both of those out. The newer Analogman book seems like it'd be really good too.
