Block Inlay

Post by Justin J »

would anybody who has a jaguar with block inlay be willing to measure the dimensions of the blocks for me? it would save me a lot of trouble and make it more accurate. thanks.

Don't they get smaller and smaller? That's a lot of measuring, dude. :P

they look a little rough around the edges, but that's just the plastic covering. they will not be going on this neck. sometime this summer, i'm gonna make one with a maple fretboard, black binding.

for tracys tele i just found a good pic of a jaazzy with blocks and measured them on the page, there is a bit of an equation for transfering them to the neck, and then down the neck i want to say like 4.14 by the spasce within the fret area, will give you a raw dimension, but then again i don;t have my notes in front of me.
