Anybody know what that is? Looks crazy, I've never seen pups like that.

I thought it was shaped like the pickguard, wth. It's hot from the back at least. NEEDS NEW PICKGUARD.

thats kinda cool looking, those pups would be kinda cool to have around.
the old d-armonds in tracys silvertone sound GREAT overdriven, but they lack a lil bit in the clean deparment, which sounds kinda weird.

It's a japanese company - might not be made by teisco, but certainly similar.

I have a guitar with those same PUPs - they're wound really low output wise, but have 2 big ceramic magnets so they're very twangy.

Harmony put gold foil pickups in their guitars. I'm not sure they are the same thing, but they look pretty similar.

It clearly says Zen-On in the title of the auction.

I use to own that exact model, i've also found that it was labeled under the guyatone name. i still own the 1 pickup neck version. even thought the pickup in now in my strat.... let me digg up some old pictures.....

The pickups are a bit twangy, but i really love the way they sound, they are unique. the guitar's neck is massive my friend had one just like it that played and felt amazing though.

ah here some a picture, much cooler pickguard on the single pup version

i had the one pickup model. but it came with a white mustang pickguard, and the body was red sparkle.

red fucking sparkle.

it played like shit so i left it at home when i moved away to college back around 98-2000. when i came back all the metal parts turned green and it was all fucked up. i salvaged the white knobs off of it for the soap sonic. they became standard soap sonic knobs.

I think that would be awesome with a proper pickguard, even more so now.

Wildness. Soap sonic is dope.

And twang is dope, too, depending...
