i've lived in the burbank area my whole life and i've never heard of "johnson's extremely strange musical instrument co". it sounds made-up if you ask me.
but that bass reminds me of the amityville horror house.

Awesome. Did there used to be a bridge cover?
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus

They're just vintage gear. That's probably just one of the guys that works there or one of their buddies.

Isn't that house on the Universal Backlot??

no, its a real house on long island. i think the owners changed the windows so people wouldn't recognize it.
the only spooky house on the universal backlot is the psycho house.

i like it from a desgin standpoint, very original and fresh, but it looks like dick.
seems like the fellows at italia have seen this before.
some of the features on the italia basses resemble that ampeg.
with that being said, i would play it.
