Please don't go LPB.

Hate to add a sonic to a sonic, but if the guard were lighter or well worn, SBL would actually work with that guard. Almost.

Case in point, though it wold not be easy to recreate and you need another color in your arsenal. Dakoda Red would almost accompany a well worn guard if you squint your eyes.

Mmmmm.....Sonic Blue, only second to Daphne! Damn, that is a hot color. I like Mike's suggestion too as it probably is the least messier and completely reversible.

Still thinking...... :?

As for guards, though, you should think about making your own...
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus

There's tools? I thought it was like, material, dremel, dremel accessories...

I consider a Dremel a tool, and I don't have one.

They're cheap down here. The only thing, is you ain't gonna do much with it, just little tidy work. I'm fairly sure that a lotta people route out their guitars with one, though, if that's an incentive.

yea, but that's with a rosewood neck. tort with maple necks looks... echhh :x they just look tacky to me.

I say white or mint guard.

those are for vintage duo sonics, not the re-issue. but they are made by WD Music, who do make pickguards for the re-issue. you can get them from their website. http://www.wdmusic.com/fender_replaceme ... 60_ctg.htm they can be stupid expensive however (they are the only people that make them so they charge what they like :x ).

I feel like I've made this post at least 3 times in the last month...
