ah! thats right! those are awesome. should i take the plunge and buy a TT, i'll definitely be begging him to slap one together for me, really makes those little heads look miles beyond sharp.

If the price is reasonable, I'd consider selling mine and put the extra towards the DT. The TT is great for a main amp for me now, but 30 watts would be fantabulous.

Sounds about in line with their pricing.

£299 for the TT
£430 for a Combo version (+ £130)
£450 for the Dual TT (+£150)

I'm sort of glad that I never did get a TT now. This looks great.

A two channel Orange Valve head for £450 and it's 30W and portable? That's a bit of a winner.

Will be interested to know what the fat channel is voiced like.

Yeah. I was thinking about that. It's another option, but i suppose if you don't like the voicing there isn't a wile lot of scope to change it with just a tone knob.

Having said that, I think the fact that it's 30 watts is worth the mark up.

I wonder what size it is. Orange are apparently shipping it with a gig bag, so do they reckon it's carryable?

They might run it like the AD30HTC which is two slightly different channels.

It can't be much heavier than the TT I wouldn't have thought, and that was very mobile indeed. You could easily sling two TTs over one shoulder, so one of these bad boys should be fine.

Little more than £150 for an upgrade depending on how much I get for my TT sounds like a deal. I knew keeping the original packaging would come in handy. I suppose I could always sell mine to a Murkan, seeing as £300 = $420, I could easily get the full money back and still sell it at a relative bro deal price. To think, the shit exchange rates could actually help me.

Yep, selling abroad is the only benefit of this situation.

If your TT is mint and boxed you should do well for it. Sell it before the new one comes out though or you'll feel the depreciation in value.

I don't think you could post it accross the water.

I'd have thought this was a good bit bigger (it's on top of a 412 in that pic, as far as I know) and a good bit heavier (two more valves, plus wouldn't it being twice the power mean that it needs a bigger output transformer?)

Maybe you're right. I suppose they wouldn't be offering it with a gig bag, and either way it's still going to be smaller and lighter than a ful szed head.

Voltage.

You're fine selling to Europe though.

Ah, tru dat. I could sell it for €300 which is a bargain, that's probably worth just over 300 in pounds. Mmm indeed.
