ok so it seems to be this one. http://www.big-muff.net/big_muff.php?d=25
any idea on what its worth though?

AUD$120 seems like a decent price although if you convert to US$/pounds it will prob not be too good

Old green muffs.
They usually go for between 150-200 $US... depends how many are on ebay at any one time really.

If you can live with the condition and you like the sound, that's an ok price.
Especially if you consider the state of the exchange rate right now.

The little big muff is really nice, its a more compressed tone, and it tracks the best out of any muff I have ever played. I had a stock russian muff and I like those a lot. I recently had it modded though and now it is the best muff i have ever heard, did the creamy dreamer mod to it and no not just to have "Teh Billyzzz pEdAlzZ!1!!" because apparently he hates them. I also had mine modded with a 9vdc jack on the front because originally the russian muffs are only powered by battery. But yeah I like the little big muff a lot more then the standard american, and the russian is good too! Modded ones are the best though IMO.

robert(original) wrote:yeah, the eua claire is a great option, its like a big muff that goes to 63 on all the dials plus it has a built in booster, a diode switch, a trim, and a noise, feedbacker thingy on it.
but it hasn't been officially released yet(i don't think anyway)
and i think retail is like 225 or something which is pretty good when you consider it basically houses 3 boxes in one with more shaping options.
( i.e. its like a big muff, with a muff overdrive, and then a feedbacker, with more tonal options)
Robert thats not a booster, yo, it's a bypass on the tone stack. Thats why your tone knob wont work when its engaged. :D

It's an analog distortion pedal dude. What do you mean by "tracking" in this context?

Records? Gawd knows.

Imagine how annoying it'd be if all effects pedals tracked as poorly as a Roland GK pickup. Damn plinks and plonks of fuzz and delay on odd bits of songs.

Tracking as in how direct and punchy it is compared to other muffs. With the other ones you get a really big open sound which is great for chords and all that, but the little big muff is great for leads, its more closed, direct, and tight sounding. also it is really really really nice on bass, little big muff is the best muff for bass players, its so fuzzy and just wonderful, it has almost a ripping quality that something like a mammoth or a fuzz factory would have, I find that mine tends to come out more fuzzy rather then muffish which i like.

if any of that made any sense then I have amazed myself.

'Direct' and 'punchy' are words that mean nothing. You may as well have thrown 'toneful' and 'mojo' in there too.
