if this ever comes to fruition, you could do the bottom switches like the ones on my magnatone, which have caps on them for lots of tone possibilities.

I'm kind of halfassed working it out and Cooterfinger said he could cut the body for me, but I keep flaking out on getting him the routing tracings :{
On yer Magnatone are the switches wired into the tone knob?

Hi,

I got something near that:

http://www.speedshare.org/download.php?id=7C336BC311
and
http://www.speedshare.org/download.php?id=9B757FE611

It´s a `78 Musicmaster body, 70 Strat neck.
25,5" Scale.
Bridge Telecaster PU added. It`s at the exact position of a Telecaster. First I wanted to install it with a Tele brigde, but then I thought it was a pitty not to use the Musicmaster bridge ...
3-way-toggle added, new pickguard had to be made (cause the bridge went backwards)
Maybe I will install a chrome control plate.

I forgot: Of course I made the refin after all that routing work on it. It`s nitro :-)
But I will change this in a few weeks, I bought a WIDE RANGE hummie for the bridge position ... will show you then.

the switches are, but they also have their own caps and such wired to them. its really cool but also confusing.

ORM-1, but neck-thru and with a Talman style headstock and an EMG-81X in the bridge (more preamp headroom/less compression) and an EMG-SA in the neck on an angle, Mustang style.

I would have a left handed Japanese Jaguar neck and body, and have it routed like a Squier Super Sonic so the controls would be where they would be on a right handed guitar. Then I would have the Super Sonic pickguard enlarged to follow the body of the bigger Jaguar. Lastly, I would have a Jaguar tremolo unit to replace the Strat one from the Super Sonic.

Finished in Ocean Turquoise Metallic, with a matching headstock and a mint pickguard.

I think hurb's was based more around an electric 12 with mustang wiring. That was an epic build though
