Didn't Andy Summers' tele have a piezo bridge? Or at least something with a little mini-switch on the control plate.

Yeah a built in overdrive circuit. I checked out the fender custom demo, sounded like shite.

Ah i wouldn't mind a cheap and crappy strat copy. Watching cheapie tanglewood on teh bayz now....

I agree with Donk it gotta be James Burton or The Crop. Andy Summers is a hell of a player but best ever tele player, naw. He also doesn't really have a tele sound and he used Gibsons and other stuff a bunch. Burton used Teles most of his career and The Crop shit I think that's all he's used when he cut all them sides and hit stages.
