Gibson is charging way too much for them new. List is something like $150 more than the faded SG, despite having fewer body contours, half as many pickups/pots/no switch, cheaper tuners, etc. Compared the SG at $700, they should be charging $600-650 tops. A used model at $500 or so would be a good deal.

I used to have a 2003 Melody Maker which is similar but I like the wraparound bridge on the Junior better. Also I like the finish on the Junior better
