Post by cleo »

Hey,

just came home from the german festival "Sonnenrot". -> sonnenrot.com
Seen a mostly unknown band there called "An Horse" - very cool sounds :)

Doesn't look vintage. Too clean.

I'd say it's a modded CIJ, too. The finish looks unaltered and unaged. But who knows.

RI or not, those are some damn fine Mustangs. I really like the P90 idea.

thats an interesting pickup she has in there. it's a humbucker sized p-90 sort of thing, but not like anything I've seen before. it's a black plastic cover or a plain black bobbin with what looks like alnico pole pieces.

i listened to this band for a couple hours yesterday, and the music is just meh. guitar is definitely more memorable than those whack ass tones.

ditto. they'd be good if they were noisier, it is just too generic guitar tone.
