Guess I has posted pic before of CV50s Strat body that was featuring rather large routes, that I think should be able to take most humbuckers in them. But maybe they have changed that.

edit for that pic. Squier CV 50s Strat body:

Nah I like the pale maple neck, but then I like this:

Just curious about the routes. Obviously humbucker routes would present more options, but I suspect I'll keep this stock and revel in the whole strattiness of the thing.

I'm soo used to the swimmingpool nowadays, so it's kinda surprising that it has SSS-config, even if it is the Squier flagship and is awesome etc. etc. My CV tele has a humbucker/i bet i could squeeze a p90 route for the neck and a single for the bridge.

I like the pale look too, had a squier tele that was like that when I bought it. Yellowed with abuse nicely to the point where the guy I sold it to thought it had been laquered.

I'll stand up and be counted for the pale 'n' pasty lobby too. I like the really pale maple they've been using in recent years although it does darken quite a lot over time.

That's that sorted then. It's routed a bit funny- for singles but not vintage-style.

This is a really nice guitar incidently, liking it loads so far. Neck profile is excellent, beats 90s Squiers I'd played previously.

Factory code. He got the more desirable OK model, the MEH ones are sure to not hold their value as well.
