I still think that mustangs are one of the coolest looking guitars but unfortunately I hate the way that they feel. Owned 2 of them and finally sold them both and bought a Jaguar and I do not regret it at all. Jaguar wins my vote.

I voted for my tried and true Super Sonic, although I would LOVE to own a Fiesta Jag. I think I have robroe envy! *arsecake*

Although, the Duncans in the Super Sonic make it mighty bright, I love it to death.

Bronco!!!

Obviously my favourite, my 78 has the best neck I've ever felt on a guitar. AND I love the uber-twang!

It's tough to make this call because I have only played a handful of these guitars. I owned a CV Duo Sonic that was nice. I only have played a Mustang twice and I really pine for one. I also really want a Jag-stang but I have never touched one either. In a week, I will have a new vintage Fiesta Red Musicmaster project done. So for now I will have to declare my pride and Joy to be my AVRI Jaguar. So much chrome and tones and mojo. It is the favorite until a new king knocks it off it's crown. It is the one I would keep over all the rest.

True and hard to imagine when you consider it went out of production a decade later. The SG faired better in a similar storey at Gibson.

I can't decide between Jaguar or Mustang. I've never owned a Mustang but then again I sold my Jag so I'm a traitor. I think if I was pushed I would say the Mustang wins my vote:

- It's not as showy
- Has the humbleness of being a student guitar, and not the most expensive decked out top of the range contraption like the Jag (the Mustang would have helped more people start playing guitar to that end)
- It's small bodied so good for short gentlemen like me.
- You can fit Strat pickups in it so can choose a modding options

Oh actually, which one did Kurt Cobain prefer? That one. In fact, maybe Duo Sonics should get a mention for having a more rough and ready bridge...

I would say Mustang over Jaguar.

Then again I have a stang with AVRI jag pickups in it and a bass cut switch instead of the standard Mustang switches so it is a Mustang with Jag characteristics.

Also, I love me a trem, but I find them more and more useless recently. I need a Duo Sonic II

I've only played one Mustang and I rather liked it, and the Jag-Stang is an absolutely wonderful guitar to play, but, Jaguar took my vote (and my money).

I love the aesthetics of the Jaguar; while the others are nice (well, the Jag-Stang is kinda ugly, in a beautiful kind of way), the Jaguar shape and size is amazing. I'm not normally a big fan of tonnes of chrome, but it somehow looks tasteful on the Jaguar; without it, it just looks kinda wrong (I'm lookin' at you, Squire and Blacktop!). The toenz are deliciously bright and clean, with a fair range of sounds readily dialable... It's a solid fuckin' guitar.
