More Klon buffers, but in even tinier enclosures.

These two are for forumite Simon (Waiting for the Winter) but I'm adding them to my range if anyone else wants one.

Have you made an MXR Dist+ with a Klon buffer inside yet?

Nah, but I could do. I'm pretty sure this'd work with a dual op amp, so the board would be tiny too.

Tim I'm really interested in picking up one of your Percs. I'm doing a board reshuffle (gone back to a Jazzmaster for now while saving for the Bass VI) and the Sunface isn't working out as well as I'd hoped (worked beautifully with the NoCaster/Vox) as I'm borrowing my friends CP JM while I wait for my AVRI to arrive. I now have the 6L6 Matamp and it's just not dirty enough. The percs do the rolled-back volume thing right? What's the general turn around? Do you still do them in that cool-fabric finish? Also have you sent any towards my side of the world (Australia) or have a slight idea on shipping costs? Don't go out of your way to get a quote just yet, I won't be ready for purchase for another 2-3 weeks (I just got the JM so I want to give it a go).

Wow, this is longest message ever to ask two simple questions

Heya Shae,

Yes you can set the gain of the perc with your guitar volume (beware- buffered pedals in the way might screw this up). Turnaround time on blue percs is nonexistent- I've always got a few ready to go. I've two gingham fabric finished enclosures ready too, so turnaround on one of these would be a few days at most.
Shipping costs to Australia would be £10 I reckon, but would refund if any less.

I made a thing!

It's a Pushme Pullyou (Tim Escobedo) octave up in parallel with Shocktave (Joe Davisson) octave down for pseudo-synth fun.

I could have used the TL074 to both split and recombine the paralled signals, but the PCB was a quick hack job from another effect I built a while back.

Unpleasant Companion arrived and i'm liking it alot. I noticed a trim pot inside, is this for more fuzz?

The finish on the enclosure looks awesome by the way.

Cheers! This is the first one of my pedals you've had with the pro finish, isn't it?

The trimpot is the tone control from the original Companion Fuzz. It doesn't do a great deal, but you can play with it if you like.

£35, posted and toasted.

Possibly, if I can design a PCB small enough. I'm gonna chuck this one in a box in the meantime and have a play with it.

Yes it is the first with the pro-finish, it looks so good it makes me want to buy more. I'll have to wait until I have more cash though.

If the trimpot is for tone I think i'll leave it alone - it sounds great where it is.

I boxed this baby up in a plain enclosure with true bypass and a nice orange LED.

Coincidently, I need to replace the spark plugs in my car, so it's now FOR SALE!

A bargain £50 shipped in the UK.
