New EHX pedals coming up...

Post by ekwatts »

An interview with Mike Mathews:

http://www.ehx.com/assets/reviews/mike- ... ar2011.pdf
What’s next on your plate? We just rolled out the Ravish Sitar, and I really dig it. And shortly, we’ll unveil a new pedal line that will be as revolutionary as anything we’ve ever done. They’re code-named “Magic, and all I can say is, don’t touch that dial, they’re game-changers!
Sounds interesting.

Oh wow. I hope it's a tube screamer clone. That'd be amazing.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a line of polyphonic instrument simulators. At this point I'm not sure what else they could do.

lulz.

I just get so paranoid when people say such vague things, but with some of the stuff they've released over the last few years, who knows? I hope it's an analog saxophone emulation.

Surely they've covered all the usual bases by now, though?

Which, ironically, is what fuzz pedals were designed to be in the first place. AND SO, THE CIRCLE IS COMPLETED etc.

I had an old Casio sampling keyboard that did that. You'd need to fart into the microphone, then you could play it back at any pitch. Easy.
