i sent an email to this dude. thanking him for his good service and got a reply. not only did i get a reply but i sent the email at 2:15 and got a reply at 2:54. take note everyone. this is how you run a business.

Hey Rob! Yes the tele bridge covers are out of stock & on backorder from Fender, so I'm not sure when I'll be receiving more. If you want, I can e-mail you when I've received them to see if you're still lokking for one?

Thanks for the good words on the forum - I appreciate it. Let me know when you need parts - I'll get 'em to you quick every time!

Subject: some questions about fender parts

hi, my name is rob roe. i want to put an order in for some stuff but your site lists it as out of stock.

mainly this telecaster bridge cover ashtray for 13 bucks
http://www.darrenriley.com/shop/cart.ph ... tail&p=793
and some other stuff if you too can get them in.

I stumbled across your site on google while doing a search for the ashtray.
I posted a thread about all the stuff you guys stock on www.shortscale.org its a website dedicated to shortscale fender guitars like the mustang, duosonic, musicmaster as well as all sorts of projects we carry out modding guitars of all kinds.

after viewing my post, one of our users, robert from Indianna ordered a set of Left Handed F keys for his fender villager 12 string project. It only took 2 days for him to get the parts after searching everywhere for a month. he is very excited and happy with your business. check out the thread i made a couple days ago. If this is any indication of the kind of good business you do, expect alot of new customers from our website. we have had it with guitarpartsresource and allparts over the years.
http://www.shortscale.org/forum/viewtop ... sc&start=0
thanks!

im not sure if he posts his phone number on his website so i x'd it out. but everything else is trew

THIS IS THE GUY THAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT WITH THE SHIT TONS OF COOL FENDER PARTS!!! He's in Raleigh, he actually set up Lee's new SG last week. I brought my stingray up there to be set up but he was too busy to get it back to me in time for our last show. When I get a little bit more money he's gonna re-tube and fix up my twin reverb though. He's a really cool guy and he really knows what he's doing, he's really well known around here because his work is so good, it's cheaper than most of the other shops in the area, and because he's just an all around nice guy.

Actually on second thought, I don't know if I actually posted about this guy or just told dodgedartdave about him. But either way... seriously this guy is awesome and has a lot of cool hard to find parts, so I would definitely recommend buying from him over anyone else!

Whoops dey it iz -- on my desk @ West-coast lunchtime. Shiny shiny Fender reissue vib/rev footswitch from guitarpar... er... from darrenriley.com. Assuming they sent it out on Monday morning, that's maybe 3.5 days to post the post from coast to coast. Notbadatall. Official darrenriley guitar pick, check. Bubbly & peanuts, check. The peanuts taste funny tho, and the bubbly's extra dry. :)

Now I can retire the urrgly Peavy footswitch that pops. By all appearances, this Fender job has the correct cable configuration (one wire inside the grounded shield and one outside) that will keep it from popping when I turn both fx on.
