total noob question: why get so specific about the order of pedals?
does it really matter if your delay is in front of your flange? plz halp.

I now have graphic equalizer thrown into the equation lol. :?

Now where would that go ? the flanger isn't working so I'm using the graphic equalizer instead.

also a tuner. :lol:

yes the order matters. alot.

Think about it. If you have flange first then delay, you're going to get the sound of your guitar with flange applied, repeated over and over. If you have delay then flange, you're going to have repeated guitar sounds, then the flange with be applied over the top of the whole thing. Big swoosh, totally different effect.

Same with distortion and say chorus. One way with distort your chorus sound, the other way round will apply modulation to your distortion sound. Think about it, every pedal reacts different to what comes in the input, so the order makes a massive difference.

usally people put delays at the end of the chain for the best echo definition, but theres no right or wrong. Just try both ways and see what sounds best. Ditto for chorus and distortion.
