I was thinking about trying some etching next time I build something. What's the best way of going about it?

Cheers for the comments dudes.
Etching: I used press-n-peel blue, ironed the design onto the buffed enclosure. Touch-up with humbrol enamel paint. Attempted to etch in sodium persulphate, which doesn't work on aluminium it seems. Use ferric chloride shit instead. Took a good while to etch, but the stuff wasn't too strong. Clean all the press-n-peel and paint off. Lightly spray the top with black primer. Allow to dry. Polish-up with wet-n-dry, removing the primer not in the etched grooves.

More Systech Harmonic Energizer fun. Designed a new board for this using a couple of TL074s. Features: buffered bypass (klon buffers), switchable fuzz circuit (opamp muff fuzz). Trimmer is fuzz volume. I also bought a Behringer FCV100 volume/mod pedal which works perfectly replacing the center frequency control. So when this goes into a box I'll add an expression jack.
