Like what as is? That's just a mockup of what I want for my next and final Jaguar.

For fun I slapped an abalone pickguard on there, too.

But this one kind of looks gross.

*WARNING* long post ahead

I am a guitar whore, here is a group shot minus a ri mustang bass and random projects.
Image
My favorite 1969 copetition lpb w/matching headstock. Plays like an absolute dream.
Image
Image
My second favorite 1969 competition orange w/matching headstock
Image
Image
Warmoth competition gold top gold. They screwed the position of the stripes, but the compound radious is sweet.
Image
Image
Custom M-16 mustang. Finnished in oly white w/1966 neck and a real ammo clip. Ala Peter Tosh.
Image
Image
60's musicmaster that was put together with spare parts. It was also the template for the M-16.
Image
Image
1965 mustang butcher job. It already had the P90 and paint stripped when I bought it (cheap). Awesome size A neck.
Image
Image
Piece of shit reissue. Why I bought this I don't know.
Image
There's others in the works including a Bronco (needs a few more parts) and a duo-sonic. And I also need to get a 1969 comp red.
Thanks for your kind indulgence.

I took out the Dragsters that while nice sounding would not allow me the spiltting options that i wanted.

Installed instead are Swineshead AMPs which are splitable buckers with individual Alnico V rod magnets rather than bars...

Wiring was a bit awkward what with the tight space to work with but it now works and sounds great :D

Eventually i'm going to get a pickguard made that does not need surround rings and eventually a refin in dark cherry burst to black but for now i'm very happy...

Pup heights have been adjusted to a more sensible height btw :D

Well, it's not a Fender, or even a guitar, but it is a short scale (30")! This is my Epiphone Allen Woody bass, and I love it to death. Can you say "bottom end"? Whoa!

Not new, but shortscale none the less and I was pretending I was in the Beatles.

a '66 Mustang. (note coffee cup stain.) This has been my gigging mainstay. All stock and showing the kind of legit wear that people pay extra for. I've just played the snot out of it since I got it back when it was still a relatively inexpensive guitar

Image

Close up of where I glued "Space Command 400" logo off of an old TV

Image

a '65 Duo-Sonic II. My gigging back up. Stock.

Image

'97 Jagmaster Vista Series. the new one. It's very white and shiny. Stock.

Image

Not a Fender, but a really cool and very rare Martin GT-70 electric. It's also very odd in that it has a large mother of pearl 'M' on the headstock rather than "C.F. Martin & Sons". It's a great jangly twang machine though.

Image

my '67 Gretsch Country Gentleman. I spent every cent I had at the time to get this and I've never regretted a second of it.

And if all goes well today, I'm supposed to meet a lady off of Craigslist that's selling a silver sparkle Super-Sonic for an incredibly cheap $265 at a Burger King parking lot in a few hours. She bought it new and hasn't played it much or changed a thing. I just don't think she knows what she's got.

And those are the guitars of the new guy on the this board...

Ooh, very, very nice collection. Haha, I'm quite confused about the coffee stain though.

Well, I met the lady in the BK parking lot and walked away with this. I gotta say I'm really digging the quality of the Vista Series. The neck on this has gotta be a regular lefty Strat neck. Bullet Truss & skunk stripe. It feels totally finished and right. Still could use a good set up and adjustment. Everything seems pretty much where it left the factory.
