looks kinda neat. is it some kind of compressor built in to the pedal?

i was just looking at that in a magazine the other day. i'd like to try it though my amp, but i'd probably have to buy one to do that. i've generally gone off boss distortions though.

It's supposed to react to dynamics like a valve amp would. I think some of the guys at www.bossarea.com have tried them and gave positive reviews.

It's on a Roland amp Demarco has demo'D, nothin' special- OD that turns on when you pick harder.

It actually seems more more clean>distortion on the amp demo, but I guess you can dial in something a bit more subtle. I'd just use a decent dynamic OD, fuck fakey shit.

I have a Roland Cube 30X, that features the "dyna-amp" mode which this pedal is based around.

i find it sh*t and unusable. that is all.

hmmm, strikes me as a pil o' balls. Just buy decent Valve Amp, they're not wile dear anymore.

You can get the same thing by using a distortion pedal and rolling back the volume dial on your guitar. Maybe not exactly the same, but close enough...
