Lame-O-Caster *done* w/ pics

Post by dawnofzion »

Polished up the guitar today. I will be putting it together over the next few days. The headstock is still being cleared and I still need to make the pickguard. but here is where I'm at. I love how the color turned out. The knobs in the pics are for my hyper-sonic. I just threw them on there for the pics. I still have to get some for it.

Yeah i stripped the yellow and the other 4 coats of paint off under the yellow. I did a little body work on it and then painted. Yeah it has a control plate on the back like a les paul. I can't decide which type of knobs I want for it. any suggestions?

Done. I put some speed knobs on it. I thought they fit the style of the guitar best. I do not have a 9v that isn't dead at the moment so I will have to wait until tomorrow to test it out.

I liked it originally, but good job. A friend of mine had one like that but was white and had aged with yellow, the headstock was black with gold fender lettering on it.
It had coil tapping and all that shit in it too, factory made. It was awesome.

Wildness. What was it originally? Some Squier shit? One of those kits off eBay perhaps? Or, was it actually vintage? If so, I'm surprised people haven't called you crazy for "destroying" something vintage... Either way, I think it looks great, can't wait to hear the twang you get out of it.

I quite like it. Its kinda icey in a way but has a old skool fender look too.
