I've seen them look good on a few guitars, but tort is usually my favorite.

I whole heartedly agree to most of what is going on here. Don't stop the love.

When I first saw the red on purple I thought "agh ;/", but the more I look at it I think the better it looks, can't not love the gold one, though, I'd love one for my black Precision and RIC, and they look amazing on sunburst.

I think the sunburst looks good with the gold pg, not so much the purple with the tort...

I was actually planning on getting a Mascis Jazzy and putting a dark brown tort guard on it very recently, but decided to buy a drum kit as soon as possible instead when my drummer came round and took his back.

Teh Ultramasterâ„¢

©2008 All Rights Reserved to Me for using the title in association with Leo Fender's 1959 blunder. My lawyer will be phoning you early Monday morning. I'd also like to advise a vintage white guard on that artificially-colored grape soda J.Mastication deal if you choose to proceed with purchasing the limited-use license from my estate. Before you snap, remember how DiMarzio snatched up the rights to producing double-cream-bobbin humbuckers.

I'm going to agree with the mint/white on the Mascis. The gold looks way better on the sunburst than it did on the mascis.

I have a white jazzy guard up for grabs if you'd like, $10.

People who don't like gold pickguards should be forced to give foot-rubs to the homeless. :x
