If it goes cheap you could always buy it to use in repairing smaller holes in nitro guards. I suppose.

anything can be restored, its just wheather its worth it or not, you would never be able to find tort to match up with that tort so it would always look off.
it might be worth it if you had a stand that yo wanted to put jazzy pups in.

Rob's right, I was reading an Erlewine "mod squad" article in GP awhile ago where some chick spliced in tort patches to a pickguard that had been routed for humbuckers to take the routes back down to single coil size, but it was really obvious afterwards, and what's the point innit. It's been hacked up, can't change that.

I wish I could find that article, because I think it was a red tort mustang pickguard, which is just a creepy coincidence.
