Squier Esquier update!

Post by robroe »

i got a tele bridge in the mail today from GFS. brass saddles, and raised sides.
shadow is sent me the other bridge in the mail after I ordered this one, so if anyone has a tele ashtray laying around and would be willing to trade an ashtray for a tele bridge let me know. not sure what the tele bridges are exactly yet probably something similar to what i ordered.

here's whats on this thing.

Agave Blue fender mexican body
squier 51 neck
fender jagstang tuners
squier 51 high e tuner (the replacement on my jagstang didn't like the 51 hole at all)
GFS FATBOY Pup in the bridge
GFS esquire pickguard
upgraded OEM fender 3 way switch
upgraded OEM fender 250k pots
on/off wiggi switch mini toggle
control plate holes boared out to fit the bigger pots
dodgedartdave custom strap
and i think the jack is off the old squier fat tele body i traded shad for this body....

so the only thing on this guitar left unmodded from the orgional sherwood green fat tele is the jack. awesome.

i have a big f- plate that goes on a fender jazz bass, its pretty sexy on a tele, but its rather large.

is it the one that goes over the bridge? that would be stupidly useless, but would look way cool.

indeed, it covers the bridge as well as about 15 square feet.
it fits on a jazzbass and looks cool, but on a tele it looks WAY FUCKNIG COOL!
i used to have one no my affin tele but took it off due to it being so big i could not palm mute.
