Is seven years a long time? -an anniversary present

Post by Sublimedo »

I'm not talking about the Swing Hailey song. It's going to be a long time before we even think about buying any other guitars (several pending projects notwithstanding) so for Rochelle and me's 7 year anniversary we went out for a sorta bang and got each other a present. We're not the biggest Courtney Love fans, but this baby is awesome

Looks keen!

That's a really really clean example. The neck binding is really nice and that bridge is a work of art.

It was a joke. I have a Baldwin Double Six with the Burns Trisonics - it needs that bridge.

does anyone know if they make an issue of that bridge?
i love how you can press the saddle together so they don't raddle/move.

i found some on ebay that i put in my project thread but no one posted anything about them.
it woudl be ace to score a back plate and a bridge like this tho!

Maybe in Rob's Fender parts thread link?

That bridge is a wonderful piece of design. Let's not forget lovely taken photographs too.

The 12 string version looks so much more comfortable in it's skin that the 6 stringer.

weird i always thought the 12 string looked a bit too much... THe sea-foam green venus is the only one that looks amazing the black one looks okay, and the sunburst is just total shit.

i always thought it interesting how krist novaselic used the venus 12 string in his sweet 75 band post nirvana.
