Are these collectible, because 700 USD for a used mexi tele seems a little high. I can get the 73 deluxes and cusoms for 450 USD all the time (they come up at that price at least 2x per month around here) and a 72 reiessue like the one shown but in natural finish just went for 425 this last week after 2 weeks of being advertised daily online.
Just curious as I love those guitars and would not mind getting one eventually.
They say great minds think alike....Sometimes we do too...

true.... 700 USD is the new price here.
Mickie, it was a limited run from 2002. They had a series of 5 colors for the '69 Thinline and the '72 Thinline.
I've never seen those done in those colors since. I got an olympic white '69 Thinline last year with matching headstock. I've modded that for humbuckers.
That is one sweet rig. Fo-huck yeah! I have enough rosy necks. I like a little variety.
What wrist probs? Stop playing wif it. CTS stuff? Vitamin B6 and keep your wrists straight. Do curls to develop the other muscles. My fingers go numb sometimes on my fret hand.
Sorry, DGNR8 I totally missed your post. Did not mean to ignore you. I've been having issues with both wrists for about a year now. Some sort of Tendinitis, Repetitive strain injury, who knows?? My Dr. says soft tissue damage.
I have an MRI on Thursday on one wrist and the next wrist the next day. (They take about two hours each they said) So hopefully they can find something that can be fixed... Oh well, life goes on!
The reason I found this post again is because I was pretty sure I had seen a hot thinline somewhere on the forum.... Doesnt this look like the Musoland I'm about to get??? I'm hoping Chrismo didnt get a $130 guitar for $700.

Congrats! That is a beautiful tele.I used to have one of the 72 reissues that they made.I had read at the Telecaster Forum that These teles where the idea of one of the guys at the Custom Shop and that they painted the bodys there and sent them to the mexican plant to finish them.I think they said that them had made 100 of each.I don't know if any of this is true but that was what I had read in posts from people who know some of the folks working at Fender.

What's the Tele on the left? Aside from the uglyass inlays I like it.
