Are the edges of teles supposed to be pretty sharp?

Do you guys ever get pink arms from rubbing them against your teles?

And do you prefer contours or no contours on guitars in general?

i've worn cuts into my skin playing my tele for long periods of time standing up. On the underside of the forearm. Never goes deep, doesn't bleed really, just stings more than anything because the sweat gets into the wound. takes a day or 3 to heal.

the inside of my arm is actually scarred from my teles and my acoustic. I am at the point that I rarely play shows/practice without a long sleeve t-short due to the damage to my arm. Mine actually has gotten to the point of bleeding on several occasions when we had been gigging alot.

Real blood dripping down your guitar due to the massive amounts of rock FTW

I thought we were talking about guitars, not novelty items.

As long as they don't make me play a Jagstang I can handle it. Fuck it...I will say it here and now. I will rock a fucking Ibanez Jem wearing Steve Vai's jockstrap before playing a jagstang. At least then I can hit on the old big hair 80's loving chicks....

Absolutely. Playing 'Shena' in particular always leaves me with the pink bubblies.

My american deluxe has the stomach contour on the back so you won't cut your arm up. I've played hours straight and no damage.

I haven't played the Doogcaster live yet, although I did use it to record my rhythm guitar track for Weevil Knievel song "I Like The Internet". Very fitting, I think.

No major damage yet. Y'all need fatter arms, why do you think Frankie B put on so much weight?

I don't get hurt by my Tele. My Tele loves me. Or maybe I just have powerful wrists and don't need to pump away at the guitar.
