You just hafta sling it real low, and sort of lean bakc when you play so instead of bruised arm you get a spinal condiiton.

You get a burn on your arm for the constant rubbing but not until after a couple hours playing, you get used to it.
IMO its your hip that take the most punishment, if you bash the guitar about of course.
