deal of the month

Post by mickie08 »

Just picked up a strat. I know no one likes strats anyways (me included generally) but I picked this up today for 150 with hard case. CIJ strat weird orange color with mint pickguard and cream knobs. Kluson tuners, rosewood neck, nice gloss on back of neck, some wear mojo going on, and texas special pups.

For 150 USD with case for CIJ with good pups, mint guard, klusons, gloss neck, and mojo.....

It is even in a non-normal color....

Well, if you decide you still don't dig Strats after having that one & want to trade for a sexy pedal or two, let me know. . .

I got this one on a bro deal so....

$600 sound good.....

Just kidding....

Yeah, this one ain't going anywhere. I would give the guy I bought it from the rights to buy it back first at what I paid before I sold it. In the end, I will keep it though as it is by far the nicest Strat I have ever had and for the price, I'd be stupid to sell.

i really like it, and yeah it's Fiesta Red for sure. That's a noral color. Cij just does an approximation of how Fiesta Red gets pink/orange as it ages. I'd play it, props.

I just noticed the $150 price tag. That is insane. That is £75

3 Texas Specials alone cost £120 over here.

You can find cheap used Fenders here all the time. Like those teles wih the WR pickup that you like routinely go for $350-$400, and if one was to part them out on ebay you'd get $500-600 for all the parts. But as much as i'd like to be subversive and part out Fenders  , I think it's kind of gay.

You know me, I don't like buy-to-profit people. It's just soul-less, I sell/give away stuff I don't use as I feel guilty about having it and not using it.

The prices? I'd be like a pig in shit. The amps are insanely cheap too. Bassman heads for $300? The cheapest they go for here is $500-$600.

Really, really nice.

That's gorgeous, a proper gem

What a deal.

Someone recently talked about dreaming of finding original Fender Champions for cheap. I dream more about this sort of thing.

I think it's beautiful, the neck alone is worth more than that.
