some band called G love and the special sauce. im guessing they are either christian or some hippy/jam/college frat band.
Garrett "G. Love" Dutton has a unique way of delivering an urban style groove. With his band, Special Sauce, he combines funk, rap, blues and jazz in the coolest way. To help spread the love, Gretsch is honored to introduce the G5235 G. Love artist model Corvette electric guitar. The guitar's own "special sauce" comes courtesy of a pair of TV Jones PowerTron pickups, deluxe mini precision tuners and a cool "Philly-Green" color scheme with competition stripe!

i like the corvette but it's TINY on me.
that one in particular is awesome.

that's my main issue too. it's the same as the other electromatic solidbody guitars from what i recall.
the only things driving up the price are the tvjones pickups.
even then....
