I thought that first sample was pretty awesome.
The last one was cool. not for music, but for shooting lasers out of your guitar.

How might one get a similar tone to the one around 2:10? Is it just a distorted chorus/flange sorta thing or is there something else going on?

Oooooor perhaps not... I just found the price. I knew it'd be expensive... but god damn!
