why would i want to hear an amp demo where it's going through a big muff first?

it might as well be any amp, i've no idea if it's any good or not.

plus that was like ten seconds of sondz and a minute of blah blah.

It's probably more like a teaser; I guess I should label it as such.

I don't think they'll be released until later this summer.

I think it would be interesting to fool with, but it's not like a 22W SS power amp is hard to build. I like the way my Dano sound through just a power amp.

Sorry if I'm being stupid, but I don't really understand how this is an amp. It looks like a pedal, and no sound comes out of it without a speaker of some sort connected. Does it mean you can plug your guitar straight into a PA instead of micing up an amp and it won't sound crap?

no that'd be an amp simulator.

this is just an amp head in a small pedal sized box with one knob and a switch.

Well, it's the power amp part of an amp head.. meaning whatever other pedals you have going into it will act as the preamp.

I bet it sounds toss.
