Well... I'm kinda making this one up as I go along. I figured the pickguard is as good a place as any to start.

hey hotrod, do you still have pics of the teisco stang? I'd like some before shots and am too lazy to put the guitar back together to take them. Plus teh guard is already totally refinished now.

Body and neck sanded and prepped for paint. I made the contour a bit more extreme while I was at it... it was bare there before and is now a proper slope.
Next... paint!

I have high hopes for this project. How'd you do the pickguard like that? Glue the picture onto the pickguard and clear coat over it? Looks great, can't wait to see this one take off!
Same DeArmond knock-off pickups like the one in my "Dadcaster?" (Which, unfortunately is now at my girlfriend's house to sit unplayed. Fuck being a nice guy.)
