Tascam US 122

Post by TieDye »

Has anyone used a Tascam US 122? What is it best suited for? Any issues? A friend has one for sale and I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

It's a USB interface box with line in, hi-z [guitar and bass] and xlr [with phantom power] inputs. It also has MIDI in/out. They come new with Cubase but can be used with other software mixers too, I know of people in a class I'm taking using them with Garageband on macs. Basically just a way to plug into your computer with a mic/guitar for recording.

They can be had very cheaply on eBay and will get the job done.
