shit was epic. didn't even scratch the surface in terms of playing all the shit i wanted. needless to say i left empty handed, other than the knowledge that i am now in pursuit of a coronado.

I WILL LET THE PICS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES.

lulz. few problems with this. i was only there for a half hour. i asked to play the white falcon in the first 45 seconds of walking into the store and got denied. erik said you have to walk in and be cool, and i totally wasn't. i lost my shit. i wanted to play that guitar real hard. they basically told me i could play any of the other ones, so i played a few, and then started taking pictures like a mad man. then i took a huge dump in their awesome ritzy bathroom.

Hey Hot Rod, serious question, did you happen to notice any old Goya Rangemasters while you were there? I'm kinda sorta looking to buy one RIGHT AWAY even though I shouldn't be.

that is some serious pant shooter photography, hot rod. nice to see someone else with the same taste in firebird I's. probably the only firebird i'd like to own. gotta get me to chicago one day.

i wish i'd have documented all the pricing, but i'm thinking that '28 gibson was like $3000 (which i guess is high, but not for how nice, and how rare i'm certain it is).

:)

one thing on my project list that i doubt i'll get to is an epiphone firebird studio with one of the pickups yanked, and painted either pelham or white. probably white.
