This started as a dent. A little weather, a little rock...
The finish doesnt even adhere to the wood. It's like a skin tight hard plastic suit.

Goodness what horrible luck, Aen.

With a little more wear chipping, you're likely to get a bakurdz state on the thing. Backward in a number of ways, of course.

i'm thinking it's time to chip the rest of it off, and do an TELEPANK.

The varnish on my Jp Strat has started peeling off a few years back - again it's like it's lifting off the wood in plastic strips and hasn't 'bonded'. That was after about 15 years use I guess...

Paint a picture of DIO jumping out of the crack flipping the devil horns!

I tink before long I will get it all off. NOt sure what kind of refin to do. I'm hoping someone will trade a serious refin for a pedal or two.

Take it to Fender's R&D and show them what Road Worn poly really looks like.

My CIJ Jaguar did that. Skin tight hard plastic suit is spot on.

This is the best picture I have of the bad chips on it, but the paint on the free jag-stang I got from the guy from filter a couple years ago was doing that too. Although nowhere near as bad as aen's is.

I recently did my first guitar project,a Baja Telecaster, in Daphne Blue nitro from ReRanch. I made a few mistakes but overall I did a good job plus it was my first guitar. Are you wanting like a nitro refinish? As long as it's a solid color I might be game to tackle that. Especially for the chance at some Dwarfcraft pedals. Is that a Fender or Squier Telecaster?
