The Gibson Hawks?

Post by Doug »

Anyone else have one of the Gibson Hawk models...NightHawk or BluesHawk?

Don't hear much about 'em. They're not shortscale, so maybe this forum's the least likely place. Just curious.

My friend Jon worked all summer when we were eighteen to buy one: it's shit. To his credit, he's still got it, but: it's shit.

Hmmm, seems like thumbs down on the NightHawk so far, and thumbs up on the BluesHawk. I'm curious about the NightHawk since a friend recommended them. Recently Epiphone has reissued the top of the line, 3-pickup NightHawk, with chrome hardware. I'm more interested in the originals with gold harware.

I have two BluesHawks and love em.
