What kind of reverb am I looking for?

Post by George »

I don't really know much about terminology but I'm looking for the right kind of reverb for vocals and all round guitary stuff

To cut to the chase, like this for vocals...

And Band of horses have a great reverb on everything, little richer and more hi-fi though it seems...

Any tips like what type e.g. plate, hall etc for vocals, what parameter if I have to increase/decrease would be amazing!

I can get that reverb sound using the plate model on my M13. The two you mention sound a bit like plate, too.

Cheers, that's working nicely!

It's always a setting I'd overlooked on my Verbzilla because I thought, "plate? sounds a bit shit and weak". Turns out it's the one I'd been looking for.
