Wooden friction pegs with internal gearing

For all non-guitar instruments; mandolins, synths, kazoos, and anything else musical that doesn't fit elsewhere.

Wooden friction pegs with internal gearing

Post by Will »

Nobody here probably could use these, but they're too cool not to share:

They're visually identical to traditional wooden violin/viola/cello/guitar friction pegs, but have an internal planetary gear for stable tuning. Makes me want to take up violin again!

Awesome! The only other company I knew of was planetary pegs. I've wanted to use something like this, or geared banjo tuners for a bass project for a long time. Kind of pricey though, and I never really had the right project.

That is genius. I would totally buy them for a violin.
